The "Stars" of St. John's Child Care
St. John's Child Care celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2002. Over the years the program has grown from a "Mother's Day Out" to include a Before and After School Care and a full time child care, as well as continuing with a "Parents Day Out".
In August of 2003, we moved into an addition to the Family Life Center consisting of two rooms for children, a workroom, a parent resource library/staff break room and an additional playground. The cost of this new addition is being financed through tuition costs, fundraising and donations to the Child Care Center. There is no cost to the parish.
Adoring the hallway of our new addition is a beautiful donor wall entitled "children with stars". It has two bronze children walking and pointing up to silver and gold stars. There are individual stars in three sizes to be engraved. The 3-inch star is $75.00, the four-inch star is $150.00 and the five-inch star is $250.00.
If you would like to have your family name or children's name be a "star", please fill out the order form and return to the child care office or mail to the address below. Funds raised will be used towards the payments of the addition. We appreciate your support in providing an outstanding program for our children.
